Our Story
Ever pondered the outcome of embracing a leap of faith?
Our adventure began in 2012 when we stumbled upon this remarkable farm, marking the end of our chapters in the corporate world. Our paths first crossed in the bustling heart of Euston amidst the gleam of high-rise buildings and the uniformity of suits—a time when the urban grind was all we knew. Yet, the countryside called to us, whispering promises of a life rooted deeply in nature. Howard's interpretation of setting down roots, somewhat literal, led us to embrace a 'tree-change'—a term borrowed from the Australians that meant not just a change of scenery but a life amidst the verdant embrace of Devon.
Transforming this land into our home, we've nurtured a quaint corner of Devon into a thriving rural enterprise, a family business that's as much about passion as it is about the place. It's been a journey of love, learning, and sharing the bounty of our farm with guests from near and far. To live here, in this slice of heaven, and to share it with others, is a fortune we never take for granted.
