Our paths first crossed in the bustling heart of Euston amidst the gleam of high-rise buildings and the uniformity of suits—a time when the urban grind was all we knew. Yet, the countryside called to us, whispering promises of a life rooted deeply in nature. Howard's interpretation of setting down roots, somewhat literal, led us to embrace a 'tree-change'—a term borrowed from the Australians that meant not just a change of scenery but a life amidst the verdant embrace of Devon.
